Someone told me I shouldn't give my baby bedtime bottles with juice.  Is this true ?

You should never give your baby a bedtime bottle containing milk or any other type of natural or artificial juices. During the evening the liquid from the bottle pools around the baby's teeth.

Bacteria in the baby's mouth feeds on this liquid creating acid. This acid, in turn, eats into tooth enamel creating cavities. Continual night time acid attacks can cause extensive tooth decay, a condition known as baby bottle tooth decay.
