Soda - A Tooth's Worst Enemy

Did you know that soda is a smile's worst enemy? Plaque bacteria within our mouths digest the sugar in soda to produce a dilute acid. It is this acid which eats into tooth enamel to create cavities.

But if that wasn't bad enough, soda in of itself, is slightly acidic causing problems for teeth. In fact, if you were to drop a tooth into a glass of soda, over time, the tooth would completely dissolve!

If you must drink soda, we sugest using a straw as this allows less contact between the soda and our teeth as we drink.
